When Hans Wagner started making shoes and boots in 1921, a careful and conscientious approach to materials and ensuring their high quality was essential. Not necessarily for environmental concerns. But one thing was clear: you could only be successful as a craftsman if you created a product that was durable and reliable.

Hanwag boots carry a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase that covers manufacturing defects. Hanwag's limited warranty does not cover everyday wear and tear. Consumers must be the original purchaser and have proof of purchase to submit a warranty claim.

Warranty Inquiries

If you have a warranty request, please email us (warranties@tandemwestsales.com, CC gordon@tandemwestsales.com) and include the following details:

  • The style number/SKU, name, colour, and size

  • Photos showing the full product (front and back)

  • A clear photo of the issue

  • A photo of the product label inside the boot

  • A copy of the customer’s receipt or invoice

  • Confirmation of whether a repair, replacement, or credit is being requested
